Pippa Evans has visited us several times both with ‘Showstoppers – The Musical’ and ‘Glenda J Collective’. Now for the first time she comes «alone» (well, actually accompanied by the musician Christopher Ash) to perform her solo-show ‘The Question’. She is so extremely mouthful and talented that we know for a fact that this will be a lovely hour in her improvised company. Pippa also teams up with Torgny Aanderaa from the ensemble in “Something Extremely English”, a brand new duo show about English manners. She’s also guesting in several of our other performances under Den Andre Teaterfestivalen 2019. We just can’t get enough of Pippa Evans!
We’ve all got questions in us. Am I good enough? Will this relationship last? Why does it always rain on me? And what better way to answer them than together. Pippa will work with the audience to create a musical response to whatever the crowd is asking that night.
In The Question’s short life, the questions that have been asked (and answered) have been:
Why does this happiness have to end?
Why do we have to work?
Why do I have to hold this man’s hand?
Come ask your question and get Pippa Evans (The Showstoppers, Radio 4) and the audience to sing you the answer. Accompanied by MD Christopher Ash (Wasted, The Showstoppers), Together, they will create before your eyes a musical experience about the question you never thought you’d be able to answer. This show involves non-awful audience participation and group experience. Also laughter. And perhaps some tears. And definitely songs.
