2FOR1: Impro All-Stars + Forgiveness (Jonny Donahoe, UK)

Hver torsdag serverer vi to forestillinger til prisen av én! Den ene forestillingen er alltid en av våre faste improviserte forestillinger, men den andre er en ny liten godtepose hver kveld. Det kan bli musikk, teater, sirkus, slampoesi og fortelling - skikkelig godt og blandet med andre ord.

FORGIVENESS - a true store by Jonny Donahoe (UK)

Jonny does not know his Dad. He is very suddenly a Dad.

‘Forgiveness’ is a new solo show about the cycles of abuse that form and affect who we are; if and how we can escape them and move on. A show about how the stories we tell about our lives become the stories we live and relive. A show about reluctant fathers, bad life choices and one very unfortunate chicken.

Hilarious and heartbreaking in equal measure, ‘Forgiveness’ shows how despite a childhood shattered by abuse it can be possible to reach a place of peace.

Jonny Donahoe is the co-creator and performer of ‘Every Brilliant Thing’, which he performed more than four hundred times over four continents, including five months off-Broadway. The show was eventually filmed and screened on HBO. He is also the frontman of musical-comedy-satirists, Jonny and The Baptists.

IMPRO ALL-STARS

Det blir knakende god underholdning når ensemblets stjerner må tilbake på skolebenken. Impro-gudfar Tony Totino har nemlig kokt i hop en rekke utfordringer han nå skal slippe løs på de intetanende skuespillerne. Det kan bli alt fra improvisert ballett til science fiction, Tony holder ikke igjen. Kom og se Norges beste improvisatører danse på glattisen!

Anthony Totino aka Tony var en av de opprinnelige medlemmene av Loose Moose Theater i Calgary (anno 1977) gruppen som startet hele Teatersport-bølgen. Tony har vært mentoren til både Improtent og Teatersport Oslo m/ bl.a. Harald Eia og Helen Vikstvedt.
